Gertrude Goldie Bartusek, age 88, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2013 at North Florida Regional Medical Center. Gertrude was born on June 9, 1924 in Dowels, IA. to Charles Wesley Cox & Emma Lena Watson Cox. She moved to Fanning Springs in 1989 from Ft. Lauderdale. She served in the U.S. Navy, was a homemaker and a Lutheran.

She is survived by 3 daughters: Barbara Davis of Fanning Springs, FL., Judy Ellen Ring of Boise, ID., and Leah Renee Bartusek of Las Vegas, NV., 2 sons: Timmy J. Bartusek of Las Vegas, NV., and Bruce L. Bartusek of Palm Bay, FL., 2 sisters: Carol Bacon of Ft. Hood, CO., and Donna Pierce of Clear Lake, IA., a brother, Francis Cox of North Dakota, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel at Watson Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Black officiating.
