Philip E. Chancey, age 62, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Shands at the University of Florida. Philip was born on June 5, 1950 in St. Petersburg, FL., to David Chancey & Bertha Royle Chancey. He moved to Trenton 16 years ago from Archer, FL. He worked as a Civil Engineer in the Gainesville/Tri-County area, most recent employment was with Mills Engineering in Bronson, FL. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by his father, David Chancey. He is survived by his wife, Margo Chancey, his mother, B. Joyce Chancey, two step-daughters: Debora Beck and DeAnna Doyle, a sister, Amy Chancey, two brothers: Dale (Ched) Chancey and James (Melissa) Chancey, niece, Mellissa Chancey, nephew, Matthew Chancey and great nieces and nephews along with many caring friends.
