Carmen Marcia Poppell Blake went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. She was born on September 7, 1953 in the Archibald Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA. Her parents were from Perry, FL. Mrs. Blake moved to Trenton in 1987 from Brevard County, FL. She was a homemaker and she attended the Lighthouse Word Church in Chiefland.

She is preceded in death by her father, Aulton W. Poppell and two sons, Ricky Morris and T.J. Blake.

She is survived by her husband, Jerome Blake of Trenton, FL., her mother, Sarah Q. Stanaland Nobles of Trenton, FL., 4 daughters: Joy Schultz and Heather Blake both of Trenton, FL., Kathy (Geoff) Gowan of Gainesville, FL., Dawn (Pete) Leone of Fayetteville, NC., 3 sons: Daniel Morris of Cocoa, FL., Mike Blake of Ripon, WI., Steve Blake of Austin, TX., 2 sisters: Anna (Glenn) Johnson of Christmas, FL., Linda (Steve) Martin of Casselberry, FL., 2 step-brothers: R.E. Nobles, Jr. (Pat) of Griffin, GA., Kermit Nobles of Cochran, GA., 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandsons, her former husband, Richard D. Morris of Rockledge, FL., and 2 step-sons: Matthew Morris and Joshua Morris both of Rockledge, FL.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel at Watson Funeral Home with Mr. Dale Thigpen officiating. Interment to follow at Trenton Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 21, 2013 from 5-7 P.M. at Watson Funeral Home.
